Workshop Description:
This is a one and a half hour introduction to the theory and practise of Hindu chant. John Noble (Baloo on the Playa) will take the group through classical Sanskrit Chant. We move into non ordinary states of consciousness, using vibration and intention, and the energy of the group.
During rest periods between chanting, John will explain the theory behind chant. Indian music will be played throughout.
The chants chosen are easy to follow, and the meaning of each chant will be explained.
You already know that there is a profound intelligence within your body. Chanting awakens this intelligence.
