Participation Requirements:

Those wishing to learn the ins and outs of fire safety in this workshop must also commit to acting as fire safety technicians for the fire precession & performance on Saturday night. This means committing to being sober until after we burn the man.

Workshop Description:

This workshop is all about how to be a fire tech, with hands on firefighting practice and techniques, working with different fuels, and some theory and safety thrown in...perimeters, fuel dump safety, etc... You WILL be putting out real fires and handling fuels and spills, so please, wear suitable attire! Even if you currently are a fire tech, perhaps you've been doing it for years, but you've never had an accident, drop by and check your skills...
