Please note: All Theme Cabins will be expected to take on a greeting shift (contact pockets at greeters@recompression.com) OR a gate shift (contact stripey at gate@recompression.com) as a group. Your shift will require a minimum of four of your cabin members (although it's inifinitely more fun if your whole cabin comes out for it... ideally, brimming-over with your cabin's theme). Saturday shifts are usually less busy so only 2 people are required for these shifts.

This year will be a bit different than other years, upon arrival, you will encounter a host of friendly people (Greeters!) at the gate. Greeters will give you a very warm welcome with friendly spankings upon request, free hugs, bubbles, horn playin etc. Greeters will then direct you to the Gate volunteers who will be ready to take your tickets, tatoo you, and have you sign your event waiver. The Greeters will then direct you as to where to park, and where to go next if you aren't already part of a Theme Cabin and will explain how to pick a cabin if you haven't already been assigned to one.
Please note: All Theme Cabins will be expected to take on a greeting shift (contact pockets at greeters@recompression.com) OR a gate shift (contact stripey at gate@recompression.com) as a group. Your shift will require a minimum of four of your cabin members (although it's inifinitely more fun if your whole cabin comes out for it... ideally, brimming-over with your cabin's theme). Saturday shifts are usually less busy so only 2 people are required for these shifts. Currently all greeting shifts are available on Friday and Saturday.

- The greeters station setup is looking good, we have shelter (my 10x20 carport), I've got a radio that I'll be leaving there, a power setup for some music, and I'm compiling an "Instructions Binder" for people arriving at a greeter shift, who may not know what they need to be doing.

* a table and a couple of chairs - Can these be simply borrowed from the camp, perhaps from a lodge? Or do we need to bring our own?
* a small stereo system - I'm thinking along the lines of a small "ghetto blaster". As I said, I'll have power at the station (a battery with AC inverter), but I need something to plug into it... a CD player would work but ideally something with Aux input so that people can use their own iPods.
