Participation Requirements
To get the most out of the Belly Dancing Workshop please wear comfortable clothing, and bring something to tie around your hips (scarf, or coin belt if you have one).
Workshop Description
This workshop is about having fun and learning some new moves. This will be a "no pressure" belly dance workshop! All levels are welcome so if you've never belly danced or you have been shaking your hips for years please feel free to join us. We'll do some stretching, basic movements, energetic watch-and-follow dancing, and then finish with a cooldown. Everyone is welcome!

Note to other belly dancing instructors:
The workshop described above is designed to include everyone and be a lot of fun. If there are other interested teachers, Kazmira wanted to mention that the content of her workshop can be really flexible, and if there ends up being room in the schedule for more than one belly dance workshop, content can easily be shared across teachers. She is also willing to co-lead with another instructor.
There are many belly dance topics that are workshop-worthy on their own, so if there's someone who wants to lead a beginner/basic workshop, she'd be happy to lead a second, "not just the basics" workshop and cover more advanced movements, or using props (like veils) or different drum rhythms. The point is to give everyone a chance to participate.
