via email pre event:
needs to be printable for anyone receiving the email
- site rules (smoking, glass, fire, etc)
- LNT guidelines
- food services info & meal schedule
- arrival & departure schedule
- how to get there / ferry sked

on site guide:
can be any format, if booklet, need budget to print one for everyone, if large format for posting in cabins, less so.
same as above PLUS:
- site map including main/workshop buildings, first aid, theme cabins
- full event schedule
- full workshop listing & descriptions
- departure schedule
- how to get home / ferry sked

new ideas for onsite booklet, if we did one:
- list 10 principles & code of sexual conduct (these were posted in each cabin in the past, but should be in here too)
- contact / links page with list of websites to stay in touch with the community (announce, bmvchat, recomp & bmv tribe)
- have extra pages for people to write in each other's program, yearbook stylez, ie for exchanging contact info, or making notes to self, etc
- that gives me an idea: add a box NOTE TO SELF: (so they can look at it later & get a feel for what they felt at the event)
- add puzzles or games...

SCHEDULE:
things to make sure to add on the sked:
- carnival decor
- big tree walk
- rangers/med/peer meeting 6pm fri & sat
- fireshow meeting

- bring rubber boots. fire performance on the field might be soggy. remind people this is not a good place to run around in heels.
- bring their own coffee/tea mug, and that coffee/tea is available 24 hours in the dining hall, along with fruit.
- Maybe a small reminder that food is technically not allowed in the cabins so please do not make a mess.
- Reminder to Americans - alcohol is cheaper in america, bring some over. remember you are only allowed an amount that you could reasonably consume while you are here.
Reminder: no glass containers (actually I'd prefer to ask people to have alcohol in a plastic cup or nalgene or whatever - that way I don't have to clean up beer cans.)
- big reminder: cigarette butts
- Ryan has rented a portable shower unit with three showers, plus 6 porta potties. They will be arriving on Friday, so Thursday arrivals will have to use the lodge showers and/or the ranger station shower.

At the Recompleasure dome we encourage yu to relax, in an tranquil but not always peaceful galactic setting. Come lounge on the couches, find yourself giving or receiving a massage on one of the tables, or rinse up and jump in the hot tub.
When visiting the RecompleasureDOME we encourage everyone to bring yur own towel / bathrobe and a comfy pair of slippers to make the most of your experience in this heated, decked out spread which will have some of your favorite Dj's eclecticsizin the ones and twos with a spread of yummy downtempo sets fur yur listening pleasures.
Don't forget we have three simple rules here under the top.
1.wash before getting into the hot tub, with so many people visit the tub every day, so to appreciate the guests who are still going to be jumping in later you'll want to wash up to keep the hot tub as clean as possible for our guests to come.
2.Bring your own towel / bathrobe and slippers
3. Ask first, before touching anyone you do not already have prior boundaries established with. As always in a semi / full on nude friendly environment we promote a safe environment for everyone to enjoy.

Can't wait to be Recompressing....see ya soon
Blue and the Recomplesaure dome peeps

So I saw this E-mail, and wanted to get my name in where it belongs, cause
well I seem to have taken on a few (a whole lot) of projects,

if you are putting credits for building the man, please include me, along
with dylan, hitoshi, and hannibal

also I would like to be included in the theater of rawk, as I am doing this
project with ryan mccann, and last but not least, the Moose lodge visuals
will be coming from me and my gear, with MediaVictim also doing Vjing, along
with other guests?

thanks

and see ya all there!

Can you do a callout for the following:

For the Canuckin Funk cabin I'm looking for:

-a video projector

-CDJ's

-Any Canadiana and/or 70's funk/disco decorations or costumes you could loan or donate. Snowshoes? A Stuffed Beaver? A Disco Ball? Any weird 70's Canadiana?

Donations would be helpul because we can use this for the Canadian Dream project at Burning Man this year.

Thanks, eh!
