**DIRECTIONS**
Birkenhead Resort - 250-452-3255
Approximately 25 minutes from Mount Currie.
The drive usually takes about 3 1/2 - 4 hrs from Van, depending on your travelling companions and vehicle peculiarities...
Go north on the Sea to Sky Hwy, through Squamish, through Whistler to Pemberton.
At Pemberton, keep to the right through the intersection at PetroCan/Shell station, heading north to Mt. Currie reserve, heading for D'Arcy. Please observe Speed Limit!      (Mt. Currie to Birken = about 25 min)
 (Do not turn off to right at the end of Mt Currie or you'll end up in Lillooet).
About 20 minutes or so from mt. Currie, look out for Gates Lake,  that will appear on your right. The train tracks will also be on your right by then. Once at the lake, keep an eye on your LEFT for the big sign & entrance into Birkenhead Resort!
There is a red wooden store up a small dirt drive on your left.
If you get to Birkenhead Provincial Park, you've gone too far, come back!
n.b. whoever gets to camp first is responsible for making sure there is NO BARREL on the fire pit!!!!

Sat brunch: All is on says that RooBee says she is going to make eggs when she gets there around 11am.
 Cock-a-doo-dle-doo!!! I wanna watch that happen!! No falling down in the kitchen this time, 11am seems like a safe cooking time!

Sat dinner:
(who is this?) I always make my coconut/tofu/veggies (tom kah) soup with rice and bring some down to the fire for ladies who are not in my cabin to enjoy and warm up with. While I don't think I can feed 33 ladies, there has always seemed to be plenty to go around.

**BOAT FUEL!!!! From Lisa**
Boat fuel is a concoction that many if us get liquored on at WWW.
It initially was my donation to WWW in like 2002 or something and we’ve kept the tradition going since then.  Basically, I bring booze and mixers and with that booze I start the first batch of the boat fuel (quite potent but you can’t tell cuz it tastes good!)
The idea is that it gets added to by others over the course of the weekend. So, those who expect to partake it in usually bring a 26 oz bottle of booze to add to the cooler thereafter (although I do also have some reserves).  So, like Soraya was saying, to add to this elixir you’ll want to bring a bottle of clear booze to dump in it, i.e. cheap vodka or gin.  Also, any kind of fruit liquor blends nicely also and gives it some variety.  Why this is good is cuz I make it in massive cooler, so you never have to go far to get a drink – it is right near the campfire!!!  I make it on Saturday usually and it changes during the course of the remainder of the weekend depending on who dumped what in it.  There is quality control though in that I taste it frequently (!!!!) and add mix and ice and further booze as provided/needed.  I also make sure it doesn’t get too full of organic matter (pine needles!)  But it definitely takes donated bottles to keep it going.
